The STAHL SM-CNC Machine EDP Connector for Automatic Polishing Machines enables you to capture process information, increase data integrity and imporove transparency of the plant floor.

The Factory Data Collection technology integrates resources like Knife grinding machines, Non Ferrous Circular Sawing Machines or Endworking machines single both ends seamlessly with ERP/MES like Microsoft Dynamics NAV or infor and delivers consistent information (Ideal Cycle Time, Total Pieces, Performance) in real time. With the Machine Communication interface you can:

  • Acquire manufacturer (SAMPUTENSILI I, MIDACO, KAINDL...) and control-specific (CINCINNATI Acramatic 900 / 950, FANUC 30B (M / T), Siemens Sinumerik 6TB...) signals and operator input.

  • Combine input (Actual parameter set number Position control, Installation menu or Installation menu) to uniform machine states like Over Cycle , Blocked (Blocked Down), Over Cycle .

  • Transform states like (Over Cycle , Blocked (Blocked Down), Over Cycle ) to indicators (Ideal Cycle Time, Total Pieces, Performance).

  • Analyze results in ERP/MES.

As the OPC - ERP interface does not interfere with manufacturer-specific (SAMPUTENSILI I, MIDACO, KAINDL) machine programming the Manufacturing Execution System interface can be implemented rapidly.

By using Hardware independent, pre-built connectors for Sawing and filing machines, Erosion machines or Lathes that are customized for controls (CINCINNATI Acramatic 900 / 950, FANUC 30B (M / T), Siemens Sinumerik 6TB...) you profit for Automatic Polishing Machines from low total costs of ownership.
