BUTLER T Type Machine Communication interface


 


The BUTLER T Type Machine Communication interface for Bed milling machines moving table enables you to visualize machine data, monitor corrective maintenance and detect weak points of the plant floor.

The MDA - MES connector integrates resources like Gear Tester Combination, Garage Presses or Rotary table surface grinders with horizontal spindle seamlessly with ERP/MES like XMII SAP or PSI and delivers consistent information (Adjustment Time, Plant Operating Time, Planned Shut Down) in real time. With the Machine Communication interface you can:

  • Acquire manufacturer (CARNAGHI, GATTI, CHESTER...) and control-specific (MAZAK Multiplex 620, MAKINO MG, ANILAM Crusader IIL...) signals and operator input.

  • Combine input (Axis lock, Static M signals DB 30 or D word) to uniform machine states like End of Travel , DCON Communication Lost, Auto Ready .

  • Transform states like (End of Travel , DCON Communication Lost, Auto Ready ) to indicators (Adjustment Time, Plant Operating Time, Planned Shut Down).

  • Analyze results in ERP/MES.

As the MES-ERP connector does not interfere with manufacturer-specific (CARNAGHI, GATTI, CHESTER) machine programming the Machine - MES interface can be implemented rapidly.

By using Hardware independent, pre-built connectors for Tool grinding machines, Surface treatment machines or Wire machines that are customized for controls (MAZAK Multiplex 620, MAKINO MG, ANILAM Crusader IIL...) you profit for Bed milling machines moving table from low total costs of ownership.
