The ALZMETALL AB4 SV Process Data Connector for Bench and Column type drilling machines enables you to imporove transparency, reduce the process time and view conditions of production ressources of the plant floor.

The SAP - Machine connector integrates resources like Open Gap Straightening Presses, Corner Notcher Hydraulic or Straightening machines for tubes and bars seamlessly with ERP/MES like QAD or Ordat and delivers consistent information (Availability, Good Pieces, Changeover Time) in real time. With the Machine EDP Connector you can:

  • Acquire manufacturer (WASINOJPN, DO-ALL, MARVEL...) and control-specific (HEIDENHAIN 150, CINCINNATI Acramatic 8D, Siemens Sinumerik 840 D...) signals and operator input.

  • Combine input (Menu dialog text number, Flashing frequency 0-5 Hz or Function result) to uniform machine states like DCON Communication Lost, DCON Communication Lost, Quality Alert .

  • Transform states like (DCON Communication Lost, DCON Communication Lost, Quality Alert ) to indicators (Availability, Good Pieces, Changeover Time).

  • Analyze results in ERP/MES.

As the Machine - EDP connector does not interfere with manufacturer-specific (WASINOJPN, DO-ALL, MARVEL) machine programming the OPC - MES - ERP connector can be implemented rapidly.
