FORST RW-10 Machine Communication interface


 


The FORST RW-10 Machine Communication interface for Broaching machines Horizontal enables you to enhance the productivity, identify potential savings and log operator-less machine times of the plant floor.

The Industrial Data Capture module integrates resources like Wire spark erosion machines, Band Sawing Machines Vertical or Bending Rolls Hand operated seamlessly with ERP/MES like abas or infor and delivers consistent information (Availability, Small Stop, Production Rejects) in real time. With the SAP - Machine connector you can:

  • Acquire manufacturer (KEIYO SEIKI, SORALUCE, ESAB CNC...) and control-specific (HEIDENHAIN 155, NUM Axium Power, CINCINNATI Acramatic 900 / 950...) signals and operator input.

  • Combine input (Recall key, Interrupt input or Flashing frequency 0-5 Hz) to uniform machine states like Specific Alarm, Production Stop , Starved (Blocked Up) .

  • Transform states like (Specific Alarm, Production Stop , Starved (Blocked Up) ) to indicators (Availability, Small Stop, Production Rejects).

  • Analyze results in ERP/MES.

As the Sensor Machine EDP connector does not interfere with manufacturer-specific (KEIYO SEIKI, SORALUCE, ESAB CNC) machine programming the MES-ERP connector can be implemented rapidly.

By using Hardware independent, pre-built connectors for Hammers, Surface treatment machines or Shaping and slotting machines that are customized for controls (HEIDENHAIN 155, NUM Axium Power, CINCINNATI Acramatic 900 / 950...) you profit for Broaching machines Horizontal from low total costs of ownership.
