COLCHESTER MASTER 2500 Machine Data Extractor


 


The COLCHESTER MASTER 2500 Machine Data Extractor for Centre lathes enables you to imporove transparency, monitor multiple machine work and post calculate of the plant floor.

The MES connector integrates resources like Portal gantry drilling machines, Die casting machines hot chamber or Lapping machines seamlessly with ERP/MES like Semiramis or Baan and delivers consistent information (Startup Rejects, Fully Productive Time, Fully Productive Time) in real time. With the Machine - EDP connector you can:

  • Acquire manufacturer (ALCERA, HERCULES, CORREA...) and control-specific (SCHLEICHER Electronic XCN 540, YASNAC MCR, EMCOTRONIC T1...) signals and operator input.

  • Combine input (channel DB41, D word or Extended H address) to uniform machine states like DCON Communication Lost, Systems Fault , Specific Alarm.

  • Transform states like (DCON Communication Lost, Systems Fault , Specific Alarm) to indicators (Startup Rejects, Fully Productive Time, Fully Productive Time).

  • Analyze results in ERP/MES.

As the Machine Data Extractor does not interfere with manufacturer-specific (ALCERA, HERCULES, CORREA) machine programming the Machine - MES interface can be implemented rapidly.

By using Hardware independent, pre-built connectors for Sawing and filing machines, Shaping and slotting machines or Milling machines that are customized for controls (SCHLEICHER Electronic XCN 540, YASNAC MCR, EMCOTRONIC T1...) you profit for Centre lathes from low total costs of ownership.
