KALTENBACH KKS 400NA Machine Data Logger interface


 


The KALTENBACH KKS 400NA Machine Data Logger interface for Circular Sawing Machines enables you to create order related reports, recognize scheduled maintenances and detect weak points of the plant floor.

The SCADA - OPC - ERP connector integrates resources like Column and Boom Manipulators, Gear and bevel gear measuring and testing machines or Wire netting and weaving machines seamlessly with ERP/MES like Ordat or SAGE and delivers consistent information (Rework Pieces, Speed Loss, Actual Run Rate) in real time. With the Machine Communication interface you can:

  • Acquire manufacturer (HUNSIKER, PEARSON, PILOUS...) and control-specific (AEG III, YASNAC MX 1, HEIDENHAIN TNC 122...) signals and operator input.

  • Combine input (Dynamic SW limit switch monitoring passive, Actual direction of rotation clockwise or Computer link 1, 2) to uniform machine states like Out Of Auto, Production Stop , Idle .

  • Transform states like (Out Of Auto, Production Stop , Idle ) to indicators (Rework Pieces, Speed Loss, Actual Run Rate).

  • Analyze results in ERP/MES.

As the Machine - MES interface does not interfere with manufacturer-specific (HUNSIKER, PEARSON, PILOUS) machine programming the XMII client connector can be implemented rapidly.

By using Hardware independent, pre-built connectors for Wire machines, Sheet Metalforming machines or Sawing and filing machines that are customized for controls (AEG III, YASNAC MX 1, HEIDENHAIN TNC 122...) you profit for Circular Sawing Machines from low total costs of ownership.
