SOMAB UNIMAB 500 Machine - MES interface


 


The SOMAB UNIMAB 500 Machine - MES interface for CNC-lathes 2-axes enables you to visibly improve the transparency, create interfaces to superordinated systems and finetune of the plant floor.

The Production Data Acquisition connector integrates resources like Polishing machines single double, Conventional Rotators or Thread and Worm Cutting Machines seamlessly with ERP/MES like ProALPHA or Ordat and delivers consistent information (Nameplate Capacity, Performance, Ideal Run Rate) in real time. With the MES Connector module you can:

  • Acquire manufacturer (TOSHIBA, KERRY, FAGOR...) and control-specific (PHILIPS 432, PHILIPS 3353, TRAUB TX7...) signals and operator input.

  • Combine input (DW number base cursor data, Constant cutting speed, G96 or Actual parameter set number Position control) to uniform machine states like End of Travel , Communication Fault, Degraded.

  • Transform states like (End of Travel , Communication Fault, Degraded) to indicators (Nameplate Capacity, Performance, Ideal Run Rate).

  • Analyze results in ERP/MES.

As the Industrial Data Capture module does not interfere with manufacturer-specific (TOSHIBA, KERRY, FAGOR) machine programming the Operational Data Logging interface can be implemented rapidly.

By using Hardware independent, pre-built connectors for Lathes, Thread and worm machines or Thread and worm machines that are customized for controls (PHILIPS 432, PHILIPS 3353, TRAUB TX7...) you profit for CNC-lathes 2-axes from low total costs of ownership.
