S-M- Process Data Acquisition


 


The S-M- Process Data Acquisition for Coiler straightening machines enables you to create interfaces to superordinated systems, enhance the plant floor specific key figures and optimize efficiency and effectiveness of the plant floor.

The Industrial Data Capture module integrates resources like Gear Testers CNC, Bending Rolls Hydraulic operated or Conventional Rotators seamlessly with ERP/MES like QAD or SAP R/3 and delivers consistent information (Quality Loss, Takt Time, Planned Production Time) in real time. With the Process Data Connector you can:

  • Acquire manufacturer (MITSUI SEKI, KOENIGANDBAUER, DORRIES...) and control-specific (ULTIMAX CNC, OLIVETTI Contor, BROTHER CNC 400...) signals and operator input.

  • Combine input (Spindle position reached, Key signals or End number) to uniform machine states like Power Off , Non Productive , Communication Fault.

  • Transform states like (Power Off , Non Productive , Communication Fault) to indicators (Quality Loss, Takt Time, Planned Production Time).

  • Analyze results in ERP/MES.

As the MES-ERP connector does not interfere with manufacturer-specific (MITSUI SEKI, KOENIGANDBAUER, DORRIES) machine programming the MES-ERP connector can be implemented rapidly.

By using Hardware independent, pre-built connectors for Borers, Grinding and honing machines or Measuring machines that are customized for controls (ULTIMAX CNC, OLIVETTI Contor, BROTHER CNC 400...) you profit for Coiler straightening machines from low total costs of ownership.
