BUHLER Sensor Machine EDP connector


 


The BUHLER Sensor Machine EDP connector for Cutting Off Machines by grinding enables you to determine and analyze key figures, improve the actuality of information and visibly improve the transparency of the plant floor.

The Industrial Data Acquisition integrates resources like Handoperated Lever Presses, Gantry Type Machining Centres or Engraving and Copy milling machines seamlessly with ERP/MES like SAP or Oracle and delivers consistent information (Quality Loss, Quality Loss, Speed Loss) in real time. With the Production Data Acquisition connector you can:

  • Acquire manufacturer (LANDIS, FIAS, HARTEX...) and control-specific (SMT 300, Pophof Automation VEGA, FANUC TB...) signals and operator input.

  • Combine input (BRK, BREAK selected, Actual parameter set number Speed ratio or IKA via command channel DB41) to uniform machine states like In Cycle, Low Material , Maintenance Assist.

  • Transform states like (In Cycle, Low Material , Maintenance Assist) to indicators (Quality Loss, Quality Loss, Speed Loss).

  • Analyze results in ERP/MES.

As the Factory Data Collection technology does not interfere with manufacturer-specific (LANDIS, FIAS, HARTEX) machine programming the Machine - EDP connector can be implemented rapidly.

By using Hardware independent, pre-built connectors for Grinders, Grinding and honing machines or Sheet Metalforming machines that are customized for controls (SMT 300, Pophof Automation VEGA, FANUC TB...) you profit for Cutting Off Machines by grinding from low total costs of ownership.
