The JONES AND SHIPMAN 1300EIT Process Data connector for Cylindrical Grinders enables you to post calculate, rise the flexibiliity and visibly improve the transparency of the plant floor.

The Machine - MES interface integrates resources like Spinning machines, Gear Hardening Machines or Polishing Automatic Machines seamlessly with ERP/MES like infor or SAP Business One and delivers consistent information (Total Pieces, Nameplate Capacity, Changeover Time) in real time. With the Machine - EDP connector you can:

  • Acquire manufacturer (RIGIVA, UNISIGN, DIAMANT NICKEL...) and control-specific (YASNAC ERC, ELEX, NASSOVIA Schiess...) signals and operator input.

  • Combine input (Basic setting, as from last main block or Display in message line error messages) to uniform machine states like Quality Alert , Low Material , Maintenance Assist.

  • Transform states like (Quality Alert , Low Material , Maintenance Assist) to indicators (Total Pieces, Nameplate Capacity, Changeover Time).

  • Analyze results in ERP/MES.

As the Process Data Acquisition does not interfere with manufacturer-specific (RIGIVA, UNISIGN, DIAMANT NICKEL) machine programming the Factory Data Capture technology can be implemented rapidly.

By using Hardware independent, pre-built connectors for Gear cutting machines, Milling machines or Sawing and filing machines that are customized for controls (YASNAC ERC, ELEX, NASSOVIA Schiess...) you profit for Cylindrical Grinders from low total costs of ownership.
