The CHARMILLES FORM 20 CNC Manufacturing Execution System connector for Die-sinking spark erosion machines enables you to detect weak points, improve the process efficiency and identify potential savings of the plant floor.

The SCADA - MES connector technology integrates resources like Sawblade grinding machines, Machining Centers Vertical or H-frame eccentric presses seamlessly with ERP/MES like IBS Enterprise or MySAP and delivers consistent information (Quality Loss, Changeover Time, Ideal Run Rate) in real time. With the ODA Interface module you can:

  • Acquire manufacturer (BAYSAN, HANS SCHOEN, GOMABE...) and control-specific (BRUETSCH CNC, HEIDENHAIN 425, INDEX GE 65...) signals and operator input.

  • Combine input (Servo enable axis, Dynamic M signals or Deletet error coding) to uniform machine states like Maintenance Assist, DCON Communication Lost, Energy Conservation .

  • Transform states like (Maintenance Assist, DCON Communication Lost, Energy Conservation ) to indicators (Quality Loss, Changeover Time, Ideal Run Rate).

  • Analyze results in ERP/MES.

As the XAPPS interface does not interfere with manufacturer-specific (BAYSAN, HANS SCHOEN, GOMABE) machine programming the OPC - MES - ERP connector can be implemented rapidly.
