The SHIZUOKA SEIKI COTAC 41 Factory Data Collection technology for Die-sinking spark erosion machines enables you to enhance profitability and efficiency, improve the information flow and boost flexibility of the plant floor.

The Factory Data Capture technology integrates resources like Portal and Gantry milling machines, Open Gap Straightening Presses or Aqueous Top Loading seamlessly with ERP/MES like Ordat or Navision and delivers consistent information (Takt Time, Actual Cycle Time, Takt Time) in real time. With the Industrial Data Acquisition you can:

  • Acquire manufacturer (MAYPRES, WILA, SEDIN...) and control-specific (NUM 760 F, FANUC 6MB, MITSUBISHI DFA...) signals and operator input.

  • Combine input (Basic setting, Axis is in the reduction range or G33, G63, G36 thread cutting) to uniform machine states like DCON Communication Lost, Tool Change , Over Cycle .

  • Transform states like (DCON Communication Lost, Tool Change , Over Cycle ) to indicators (Takt Time, Actual Cycle Time, Takt Time).

  • Analyze results in ERP/MES.

As the MES Connector module does not interfere with manufacturer-specific (MAYPRES, WILA, SEDIN) machine programming the Machine EDP Connector can be implemented rapidly.

By using Hardware independent, pre-built connectors for Shears, Drilling machines or Bending machines that are customized for controls (NUM 760 F, FANUC 6MB, MITSUBISHI DFA...) you profit for Die-sinking spark erosion machines from low total costs of ownership.
